Spring begins to bloom








A bit of a lag after the snowdrops, then suddenly it all starts happening...dandelions in massive profusion, primroses thick on the ground, and flaking the primroses , the violets - not so many but demaning attention, like the zebra to the wildebeast.

Raiding the attic - Great Granny's dresses

Norah Burbury - great grandmother and society grande dame - a debutante in the Thirties, at Bletchley Park in the Forties, and retired to bed in the Fifties. We have some of her dresses, incredibly glamourous, if a little shabby with time - and had a bit of a fashion session this weekend.
